1.Download postman collection from Explore
Enter explore section by clicking explore on the navigation menu or the card in the home page.
Click on the Run in Postman Button to download the collection or run it in the browser version of Postman.
2. Test the Sandbox environment
A. Create the proper environment
When downloading the collection, make sure a Sandbox environment is created. You can check this on the top right corner of the screen, just below the alerts icon.
If No environment is selected, please create a new one with the variables shown on screen. The variable tx-api-host refers to the server which you are going to make requests to, and apiToken is the Base64 version of the sandbox authorization credentials.
B. Authorization credentials
Sandbox environment comes with standard credentials for you to try the service. Authorization is Basic, with user demoApiUser and password demo2019. You will need to complete this information on the Authorization tab in Postman. apiToken header and postman Authorization are redundant, feel free to use the one that suits best for you.
C. Start Exploring!
It is recommended to do a Healthcheck request first, in order to verify the connection to the service is established. If your private credentials do not work on making this request, please contact support for assistance.
From there, you can start making requests to the sandbox environment, for all operations. Remember, you will need to Execute a Sale or Authorization operation and copy the transactionId returned by the API in order to explore Capture, Refund and Void.
